Scary Weekend

The Chief was in the process of preparing his new cider press to press some Concord grapes.  The Fair Maiden noticed that the Chief wasn't his normal "color" and after consulting with Katie, transported the Chief to Lock Haven Hospital.  Chief was admitted Saturday morning and was given three units of A+ blood over the weekend to cure anemia brought on by upper GI bleeding brought on by medications, another Pirate losing season, work, work and work.  Not to mention the lack of fishing.  Chief was discharged at 5:45 PM Monday and was told to avoid work.

Chief it’s good to hear you‘re on the mend. I almost gave you a call about hitting SC this weekend. But I ended up cutting firewood instead of fishing.
Hopefully you will be up and ready for a steelhead trip this fall. Listen to Katie and get well.

Chief: Let's be careful out there! Geez, get well. I really want to meet up with you next year in MT to show me how to catch those spring creek trout.

Kee-ripes amighty Chief! Don't be scaring us like that. Take care of yourself.

PS - If you hadn't noticed, there's another Pee Aye baseball team that's not doing too bad; won't screw you up as bad inside being a fan of Doc Halladay, General Lee and the rest. Although I start hemorrhaging too when I watch their football playing neighbors in green.
