So let’s move on to the high lights of the weekend ½ pound burgers with bacon and cheese and Saturday night Paella, moved up to afternoon because of the Brown Drakes.

Shame on you for six weeks if you missed this one! We inducted another member, presented our annual awards, caught plenty of fish and one turtle, witnessed two incredible caddis flights and libated to sufficiency. I prayed that God would pardon gluttony when I bit into that Deluxe Burger. The only thing that burger needed was your mouth. The consumption of port wine prior to and during the preparation of the Paella took its toll on the Chief but he managed to pull off another batch better than anyone this side of Barcelona.
Moving paella up for fishing? What about Yucca? And no mention of cooler fishing? Now I HAVE to come next year to try to save the Big Woods Summit from itself.
Hitting a Brown Drake Spinner Fall may happen only once in an angler's lifetime. Sometimes tough decisions need to be made. As for the Yucca, damn Midger is to blame. He single-handedly determined that we needed a break from Yucca and didn't bring the fixin's. The weather was perfect for Yucca, the Official Cocktail of the RBF Pro Staff. As leader, I take full responsibility for this blunder. Well, we sorta Cooler fished. Only this time we sat in the creek. You are encouraged to attend next year's gathering to save us from ourselves.
