Fair Maiden on Spring Creek

The Fair Maiden enjoyed a fine day wet wading the skinny waters of Spring Creek in late August. We arrived at noon, drank a few Staubs and listened to a couple of anglers describing the arduous fishing conditions. They had failed to catch a fish. The Fair Maiden strung up the deadly combination of Matt's Indicator Beetle and RBF's Starling Micro Bead and commenced to catch trout after trout on both contraptions. The Chief was pleased to be her net man for this fine brown.

I could swear I saw Glen G wearing a hat just like that the other day on Penn's Creek while we were watching a couple of otters :^)
